Finally, here’s that event you and your girlfriends have all been looking for.

Get a table together and join us on Saturday Night May 3rd in our grand Temlee Dining Room for the Melbourne Greyhounds Girl’s Night Out at ‘The Meadows’.

Last year was the first time in many years we hosted this special ‘Girl’s Night’ event and raised money for Look Good Feel Better. It was a sensational occasion enjoyed by over 100 guests. We’ve again got our act into gear and have planned another unique evening for everyone to enjoy. It’s the perfect event for all your besties to get together and have an affordable night out and support a wonderful organisation in the process.

Tickets to this night are just $59 per person, and come with a list of inclusions longer than Rupunzel’s golden locks. Scroll on below to read about all the amazing inclusions your ticket gifts you.

Glorious Food & Beverages

If you're one of the lucky ones to have been to a function or a Race Night at 'The Meadows' and dined in our level one Temlee Dining Room, you'll know when we say we'll be serving a delicious three course meal that we're not telling 'porkie pies'.

Amongst all the FREE activities and world-class greyhound to racing, you'll also get to enjoy a fine dining experience. Each guest will be served shared grazing platters for entree, a delicious main meal and a succulent dessert. Plus, there's a complimentary beverage on arrival to get thing started and the chance to sip on $15 cocktails, prepared by our expert bar staff, should you wish. Additional beverages can be purchased from the bar - with glasses of exquisite Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate wines for only $6 each!

Bonanza Raffle & Door Prize

What would a night like this be without a chance to go home a big winner in a raffle. Our 'Girl's Night Out Bonanza Raffle' will be raising funds for 'Look Good Feel better', with all ticket sales being donated to this great organisation.

There's be a table full of prizes valued at over $2000, where each drawn winner can pursue and choose what they like. We'll keep drawing tickets until all the prizes are gone - giving everyone multiple chance to take home a prize.

DOOR PRIZE: One lucky guest will leave with a Nights Accommodation at the Novotel in Preston, valued at over $300. Prize included accommodation, parking, breakfast and a 10% discount at the hotels Stamford Restaurant. This is a wonderful hotel, just down the road from High Street, which was recently named the 2024 Coolest Street in the World. It's the perfect 'urban staycation' for those who need a night away but don't want to travel far!

Bonus Activations

We are thrilled to announce that will be hosting a pop-up wine tasting area (with seafood parings) on the night. This is a great opportunity to try a delicious selection of Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate wines without cellar door pressure to buy or needing to pay a tasting fee. All wines available for tasting will be available to purchase from The Bar at just $6 a glass on the night.

There will also be a 360 Degree Photo Booth for you to capture a memory, Tarot Readers to look into what your future holds and relaxing 3 minute shoulder massages to keep you feeling like you're on cloud nine all night long.

What's the point of a 'Girl's Night Out' if there's no music to dance and sing along too? To make sure that box is ticked, we've got a great duo booked who know all the classics when the time comes to 'Shake a Groove Thing' and 'Get this Party Started' and help you kick up your heels.

Help us 'Face Cancer with Confidence'

This year's 'Girl's Night Out at The Meadows' Bonanza Raffle will see all proceeds donated too 'Look Good Feel Better'. 'Look Good Feel Better' is a free, national community service program, run by the Cancer Patients Foundation. The program has been designed to help cancer patients learn practical strategies to manage the physical, psychological and social impacts of cancer treatments.

The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association is a proud partner of this service. We donate 'The Meadows' venue free of charge for consultations and sessions for this service. In support of 'Look Good Feel Better', we are welcoming donations to the raffle in the hope to raise as much money as possible. If you'd like to donate a prize (be it a service or item) please contact us. We'd be most grateful for your support and would be happy to promote your donation to guests attending on the night should it be from a business.
