When can you trial at The Meadows?

The MGRA offers opportunities across the week for trainers to trial their greyhounds.

• Monday Trials (Pen & Arm) 10am start time
• Thursday Trials (Pen & Arm) 10am start time
• Wednesday Trials – Satisfactory Trials only after last race

Exhibition trials on race day (Wednesday & Saturday) can also be arranged and require special permission for the MGRA Race Manager. Requests need to be made in writing. Visit the Contact Us page for contact information. Trials, however must be booked.

How to book a trial at The Meadows

Trial bookings at The Meadows are made through Greyhound Racing Victoria’s (GRV) FASTTRACK website portal. FASTTRACK account holders can access ‘The Meadows’ Trial booking Form and select a date and time. Trials are $12.50 each and payments are made at the time of booking online. Bookings for Monday or Thursday trialling open the day prior at Midday and close at 9.30am on the trial day. The MGRA offers $10 Trainer’s Meals to the registered participant responsible for handling at our midweek Wednesday Night Race meeting at the Melbourne Greyhounds. Vouchers can be collected from reception on the Race Night.
