When do we race

Wednesdays: 5:00pm – 11:30pm (First race approx: 6:30pm)
(Please note: As of September 6th 2023 all Wednesday afternoon race meetings were moved to evenings until the end of June 2024. Please refer to the GRV Racing Advice for more information and the rationale).

Saturdays: 5pm – 11:30pm (First race approx: 6:30pm)

If you’ve never visited the Melbourne Greyhounds at The Meadows you’re in for a surprise. From driving along the mature spotted gum tree lined and established Northcorp Boulevard and then making the turn into our centre you’d be forgiven for thinking that you thought you were in the heart of a bustling and vibrant industrial park.

These surprises continue as you park in our private carpark, surrounded by manicured and well kept gardens, and begin the approach toward our main venue. You won’t be the first, nor the last, to feel this way. If first impressions count, then ‘The Meadows’ knows how to make a great and lasting one.

The track is located only 12 kms from Melbourne Airport and 20kms from the Melbourne CBD. With easy access via Melbourne’s main arterial roads and plenty of FREE onsite parking (up to 300 cars and multiple buses) the venue is safe and superbly located for holding large events.
