The Healesville Cup

First run in 1990 over 340m, the Healesville Cup is the most sought-after straight-track race on the calendar.

Won by some of the greatest straight-track greyhounds of all time, this is the trophy that breeders, owners & trainers all want on their mantelpiece.

Only two greyhounds have ever gone back-to-back in The Cup - Koutafidamedes (1997-98) and Schwartzanager (2007-08)

The Sportsbet Emerald

The Sportsbet Emerald, conducted over 300m, is a unique race series that blends raw speed and race sense in order to crown the victor.

Unlike conventional heat & final races, this series sees eight heats of four-dog fields with the eight fastest greyhounds - regardless of their finishing positions - going through to the $25,000 to-the-winner final.

Since it's inception in 2023, this race has been won by elite straight-trackers Unleash Collinda, Humidity & Serial Sticker (pictured)

SERIAL STICKER'S 2025 WIN

Straight Track Championship

Each year we see a Victorian Straight Track Champion crowned before they go on to represent the Big V at The Nationals.

The top-two greyhounds from each of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland & South Australia then do battle at the host venue of The Nationals that year.

Pictured is the 2023 Nationals winner - Unleash Collinda - the most recent victor when the culmination of this series was hosted at Healesville.
