The Meadows Greyhound Racing Calendar

The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association presides over 104 greyhound racing meets annually (and more than 1000 races) at The Meadows. Race meets occur Wednesdays and Saturday nights and are FREE to attend.

Attending a race meeting at The Meadows is simple, easy and fun.

All you need to go is check either the online GRV calendar or our quarterly PDF calendar, pick a date and roll up. Entry is FREE to every race meeting (so is parking onsite), allowing you to stay for as long as as little as you want.

With races every 30 minutes there’s plenty of live action to enjoy, and in between you can enjoy a great range of food and beverage options, be them served from our concourse Midas Cafe and Bar or from our City View Bistro – the best kept dining secret in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

2024 Spring & Summer Racing & Events Calendar

Our racing and events calendar gets hotter and hotter as 2024 rolls on.

Amongst our usual Wednesday and Saturday meetings there are multiple Group 1 Race Nights:
> Topgun & Hume Cup – Saturday Nov 9
> Silver Chief – Saturday Dec 14

And special event Race Nights:
> Family Nights – Monday Nov 4 & Saturday Dec 7

The Group 1 nights offer up special Hospitality Packages, while the Family nights are nothing but FREEBIES and FUN! Be sure to put these dates in your diary.
