Finally, here’s that event you and your girlfriends have been looking for.

Get a table together and join us on Saturday April 27th in our grand Temlee Dining Room for the Melbourne Greyhounds Girls’s Night Out at ‘The Meadows’. It has been a few years since we’ve hosted a special ‘Ladies’ event and raised money for a special women’s charity, but we’ve got our act into gear this year and have planned a very special evening for everyone to enjoy. This is the perfect event for you and your besties to have a night out and support a wonderful cause in the process.

Glorious Food & Beverages

If you're one of the lucky ones to have been to a function or a Race Night at 'The Meadows' and dined in our level one Temlee Dining Room in the past 18 months you'll know when we say we've got a delicious three course meal to thrill you with that we're not telling 'porkie pies'.

Enjoy a shared table entree, and alternate placed main and dessert with your ticket. Plus, there's a complimentary bottle of Oyster Bay Sparkling per table (1 bottle for every 4 guests) and delicious cocktail on arrival to kick start the night. Additional beverages can be purchased from the bar. There will be plenty of specials available all night long!

Bonus Activations

We are thrilled to announce that will be hosting a pop-up wine tasting area (with seafood parings) on the night. This is a great opportunity to try a delicious selection of Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate wines without cellar door pressure to buy.

There will also be a FREE 360 degree Photo Booth for you to grab happy snaps, a Tarot Reader and 'at table' 3 minute shoulder massages to keep you nice and you relaxed.

Music & Entertainment

What's the point of a 'Girl's Night Out' if there's no music to dance and sing along too? To make sure that box is ticked, we've got a great duo booked who know all the classics when the time comes to 'Shake a Groove Thing' and 'Get this Party Started' and get everyone up for a boogie!

Also, we've a wonderful compere who'll play master of ceremonies and ensure the night rolls along between races and all the fun that's been planned gets activated and enjoyed.

Charity Prize Raffle & Giveaways

What would a night like this be without a chance to go home a big winner in a raffle. Our Girls Night Out Raffle with be raising funds for 'Look Good Feel better'. (Scroll on to read more).

In addition, there will also be a special gift for each attendee on the night as well as a host of spot prizes to look out for.

Help us 'Face Cancer with Confidence'

This year's 'Girls Night Out at The Meadows' prize raffle will see all proceeds donated too 'Look Good Feel Better'. 'Look Good Feel Better' is a free, national community service program, run by the Cancer Patients Foundation. The program has been designed to help cancer patients learn practical strategies to manage the physical, psychological and social impacts of cancer treatment.

The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association is a proud partner of this service. We donate 'The Meadows' venue free of charge for consultations and sessions for this service. In support of 'Look Good Feel Better', we are welcoming donations to the raffle in the hope to raise as much money as possible. If you'd like to donate a prize (be it a service or item) please contact us. We'd be most grateful for your support and would be happy to promote your donation to guests attending on the night should it be from a business.
