Fields are now set for two of the biggest races on the greyhound racing calendar, with the Group 1 Sportsbet Topgun and Topgun Stayers ready to take centre stage at The Meadows on Saturday night, November 7.

The sprint field features plenty of firepower, with group winners, track record holders and the new kids on the block all featuring to set up a tantalising race for the $150,000 first prize.

Not to be outdone, there will be no shortage of staying power set to do battle over the 730m with the reigning greyhound of the year Without A Trace looking to beat a star-studded field to become the first greyhound to win back-to-back G1 Sportsbet Topgun Stayers titles.

The Victorian star will face some stiff competition in the likes of multiple Group 1 winners Miss Envy & Magpie Hector, while the next wave of staying prospects from all around Australia will be looking to usurp the established superstars come November 7.

The meeting will also feature the Group 1 Hume Cup, completing a blockbuster triple-header of Group 1 racing.

All three G1 box draws will be conducted on Monday 2 November after the G1 Hume Cup heats are run and won.
