There’s only one place to watch the 2024 NRL State of Origin Series – ‘The Meadows’.

One of the great rivalries in Australian sport continues, as the Blues and Maroons go head to head again in another anticipated Origin series. It all kicks off Wednesday June 4 as the classic battles of Mate vs Mate, State vs State and in our Midas Cafe and Bar, Parma vs Parmi get played out!

Yes, to celebrate the origin series, we’ll be playing all the biff on the big screens in our venue and cooking up delicious $15 Chicken Parmas (Parmis) and serving them with crispy hot chips and fresh salad. No matter what you call them, bet you’ll call them tasty at just $15!

Plus, to keep everyone’s thirst quenched, ice-cold $5 beer schooners and cans will be available all night. (Maybe book in an Uber now to get you home!)

Along with Origin playing out live and loud, there will be great metropolitan class greyhound racing every 30 minutes, giving you a quick break from what is bound to be super intense watching!

No booking is required to join us and track entry is FREE. We’ll open the gates at 5pm (so you can get a good spot near the screens) and fit in a feed before all the action starts at 8pm. Do the ring around, get some friends together and make your way to the Melbourne Greyhounds.

All 3 games in the series will be shown live on Wednesday nights. Series game dates are June 4, June 26 and July 17.
