Superheroes are flying into ‘The Meadows’ this December. Join us for a super night of WHAM, POW, BANG and BIFF!

Don’t miss a chance meet your comic book and movie heroes, as well as our very own superheroes – The Greyhounds! Be entertained by a range of super family and kids activities, as ‘The Meadows’ turns beast mode with action aplenty on and off the track.

We’ve arranged a super collection of activities and offers (see the list further below) for all to enjoy. For those who like putting on a costume, there’s chance to win one of 5 Super Prizes in our ‘Best Dressed Superhero Kids Competition’. Plus, we’ll also be running our much loved Family Prize Draw with 5 huge prizes to be given away.

Entry to the evening is FREE, as is parking. Gates open 5:30pm (not that our superheroes will need them to be).

What are ‘Melbourne Greyhounds Family Nights’ all about?

For those who’ve never attended a Melbourne Greyhounds Family Night at ‘The Meadows’ you’re in for a super surprise. Our family nights see hundreds of young families enjoying beautiful weather, FREE carnival snacks and loads of FREE entertainment (as well as some fantastic greyhound racing) at our Meadows venue. These themed nights are all about giving back to the local community, introducing people to the sport and letting people (especially kids) enjoy themselves without parents and carers needing to dig deep into their pockets!

We’ve planned a super lineup of entertainment and food options, and like all superhero movies there will no doubt be some additional surprises on the night that no one was expecting. For now, here’s the list of FREE activities and food children (and parents) will get to enjoy on the night:

Importantly, there will be plenty of great dinner options, notably our Food Van Precinct. While our concourse level Midas Room Cafe & Bar will also open for delicious food and drink purchases. Bar meals are priced around $17.50 each and we have plenty of kids friendly food options, including ‘Frog in a Ponds!

Entry to our Superheroes Family Night is FREE. No ticket purchasing is required, unless you would like to dine in our City View Bistro which does require a reservation. Table bookings are available online. Otherwise, all you need to do is turn up and have yourself a ‘super’ night out!
