Two fabulous food and beverage options

Whatever you choose, our Melbourne Greyhounds ‘End of Year Celebrations’ food and beverage packages will complement your unique race night entertainment experience perfectly, and deliver every person on the guest list delicious dishes and drinks, all at great value prices.

It goes without saying, a lot of events get judged by the catering. Here at the Melbourne Greyhounds we’ve worked hard to ensure that every guest is served wonderful meals and will be more than happy to share glowing reports to friends and family on what they had to eat.

We also understand that great food, drinks and service doesn’t have to cost the earth. We’ve priced our catering packages with affordability in mind.

Seated dining packages start at $50 per guest, while our Stand-up cocktail packages commence at $40, and include seven individual canapes. Importantly we have made sure that all menu options are first class and delicious. Beverages packages start from $10 per guest and cover 4-hours of service.

Seated Dining Packages

A beautifully prepared and served dinner is hard to move past. The Melbourne Greyhounds can deliver the perfect night of food and entertainment, right down to the last bite (and race)!

Choose from either two or three courses, with or without beverages, to create a night every guest will gratefully remember and be looking to repeat again next year. Packages include seated table service and start from $50 per guest.

Stand-up Cocktail Packages

A cocktail style event at The Melbourne Greyhounds is hard to beat. Held in a private dedicated space, where guests are free to roam, graze and sip, whilst taking in all the excitement of world-class metropolitan greyhound racing, makes for a fabulous night out.

Enjoy the finest in Roving Canapes, Antipasto Platters and Dessert Boards in your desired space, all served by our professional wait staff. You may also consider adding a Beverage Package to make it a complete occasion. There are three Cocktail Canape Packages to choose from. Prices start from $40 per guest.

Beverage Packages

Top-off your selected dining option with 4-hours of unlimited refreshments.

Whether you'd like to keep it simple with all the standard beverages (beer, wine, cider & non-alcoholic) or go that one step further and add in a range of spirits, either way, your guests will be suitably looked after with our selections.

> Non-alcoholic Beverage Package: $10 per head
> Standard Beverage Package: $55 per head
> Standard Beverage Package plus Spirits: $75 per head

In the case that you'd prefer everyone to buy their own drinks, our bars can be set to run as a pay-as-you-go option or can hold a bar tab – a great way to kick off your celebration.

Three fantastic entertainment spaces

Across our racetrack we’ve three key spaces to entertain you. Each with it’s own unique atmosphere and view of the action. All you need to do is ask yourself the question – where would you like to be entertained?

If you enjoy the comfort of being indoors, any of our three Temlee Dining Room spaces will suit. If you’re seeking a mix of chic indoor and outdoor entertaining, then head for The Deck. For the full trackside experience, complemented with the comfort of a private undercover area and bar, then book a corporate marquee on The Terrace and cheer the chasers as they fly by.

The Temlee Dining Rooms

Our magnificent level one Temlee Dining Room offers three fabulous entertaining spaces - Main, East & West. All are extremely versatile and perfectly suited to our Seated Dining Packages, with East and West also suited to cocktail style events.

All three spaces have floor to ceiling windows, capitalising on their elevated locations, and sweeping views of the track and the Melbourne city skyline. They are the perfect vantage point to take in the nights racing and be superbly entertained and hosted in stylish surrounds.

The Deck

‘The Deck’ is a the perfect and most sophisticated entertainment space we offer at ‘The Meadows’. Comprising of an elegant indoor space, with a private bar, multiple audio-visual screens and bi-fold doors that open out onto an wide timber boarded deck area, it’s the space everyone wants to be in when they arrive at ‘The Meadows’!

It’s the perfect space for our Stand-up Cocktail Packages. Located in front of the 525m start boxes, it offers an electric atmosphere and fantastic vantage point as the chasers zip by it two times in every race.

The Terrace

Adjacent to the racetrack finishing line and the first turn, The Terrace is where all the fast paced action takes place. This large raised open outdoor space is covered in artificial lawn, making it perfect for all-weather celebrations. Offering it’s own private bar and designated wait staff, it makes for sensational entertaining.

Able to accommodate both large and small groups, The Terrace is dressed with corporate event style marquees and outdoor furniture at this time of year, perfect for holding a stylish alfresco celebration in the evening twilight. If it’s fun you’re after, booking a marquee on The Terrace will delivers it in spades.

In addition to a great night out, our ‘End of Year Celebration’ bookings offer a number of terrific bonuses, only applicable to this time of year.

As we roll into the summer racing season, not only is the racing electric, but some of our biggest Group 1 races get run and won. For example, book an ‘End of Year Celebration’ on Saturday November 9 and you’ll get to see the Group 1 Top Gun Invitational and the Group 1 Hume Cup Final. Slip forward to December 14, and you’ll be on course for the Group 1 Silver Chief Final. These Race Nights are some our biggest and great nights to attend.

Furthermore, we can gift your booking a FREE Race Name to add to your celebration. All guest also receive a FREE Racebook and Melbourne Greyhounds Drink Holder. Entry to the track is included, as is onsite parking. We also waive the room hire and additional security costs for these bookings.
