The Melbourne Storm complete The Phoenix puzzle
The Phoenix field for 2024 has been finalised as the Melbourne Storm has this morning announced Lakeview Emily as their representative in the world’s richest greyhound race.
Owned and trained by Team Whelan, Lakeview Emily comes into the fourth edition of The Phoenix in rare form after posting a 29.55 victory at The Meadows two starts back before running 29.10 at Sandown at her most recent outing.
Rinsed the Lot had initially been announced as the Storm’s representative back in early September before withdrawing due to injury.
The all-important box draw will be conducted LIVE on Sky Racing 1 this Sunday at 10.30am.
